Dr Abuzaid Dorda, Libya’s former permanent representative to the UN who was captured last year by one of the militias in Tripoli that NATO brought to power, and has since spent months in detention enduring extreme torture is now facing a sham trial in a kangaroo court. On June 5th he said:
I take responsibility for all that I’ve done for my country and I have no regrets for working for Gaddafi and if God is planning the same fate than so be it for death would be better than living and watching my country burn.
