Editorial Comment:
I have always asserted that Muammar Qaddafi died in combat. He was actively fighting in the defense of Sirte and died as a hero, a warrior, not cowering in a ditch or drainage pipe as Western media propagandists stated in their litany of lies.
Although I concede that had any of the leaders of Western nations, including the butcher Hillary Clinton, been confronted with the brutality and military might of NATO – these cowards would most certainly would take refuge in a sewer to save their worthless lives!!!
After five years the truth about that fateful day is gradually being made public – the heroism of the convoy of martyrs and the Brother Leader and his son, Mutasim.
As for the location of the remains, the family’s appeals remain unacknowledged, unanswered.
Safia Qaddafi called upon the international community,
“In the memory of NATO’s aggression against my country, which turned Libya into chaos, and in the memory of my husband, whom I consider to be a martyr, my dear son and the people who were with them on October 20, 2011, when NATO air forces shelled the cortege of Libya’s leader, and then, their wounded bodies were butchered by a crowd of people whom I can call no other way than criminals.
“What this crowd did to my husband and my son cannot be justified from the point of view of any religion. But I also consider it to be a no lesser crime that the remains of these martyrs are still being hid from their relatives, which is something unprecedented in the entire history.”
“I demand that all the members of the UN Security Council, the European Union and everyone who has direct or indirect connection with this murder must tell where the remains of these martyrs are and allow their relatives to bury them in a proper way. I also demand that the African Union, of which Muammar Gaddafi was a founder, should investigate into the murder of him and all the people who were with him on that day.”
There is video footage of a ceremony presided over by the Imam, Sheik Khaled Tantoush. Following that ceremony, Sheik Tantoush vanished into the hellish network of Misrata detention centers where he was tortured and sentenced to a life of hard labor in prison.

حقوقي ليبي: القذافي لم يقبض عليه في أنبوب وتوفي شامخا

قال الناشط الحقوقي ومؤسس المرصد الليبي لحقوق الإنسان ناصر الهواري ان جثة الزعيم الليبي السابق معمر القذافي قد تم دفنها في مكان سري تجهله الجهات الرسمية الليبية ويجهله الشعب الليبي.
وقال ناصر الهواري في تصريح لموقع “حقائق أون لاين” التونسي أمس السبت 22 أكتوبر 2016، إن بعض قيادات الكتائب المسلحة التابعة لمدينة مصراتة هي التي قامت بدفن جثة معمر القذافي في مكان سري، مرجحا أن يكون هذا المكان في مدينة مصراتة.
وذكر الهواري أن تلك الكتائب المسلحة التي قامت بقتل القذافي ونكلت بجثه هي ذاتها التي قامت بدفن جثته، مشددا على أن ملف دفن القذافي سيبقى مطروحا في انتظار حلول دولة القانون والعدالة في ليبيا لفتح تحقيق والقبض على الجناة، وفق قوله.
وتابع الناشط الحقوقي قوله”إن قتل الزعيم الليبي تم بطريقة دموية غير أخلاقية، واصفا إياها بجريمة الحرب اللاانسانية والمخالفة للشرع والقانون وحقوق الإنسان”.
وشدد الهواري على أنه لم يتم القبض على معمر القذافي في أنبوب لصرف المياه مثلما تم الترويج لذلك، قائلا “إن القذافي توفي شامخاً مرفوع الرأس بعد مواجهة مع قوات حلف الناتو”.
