Dr. Abuzaid Dorda’s Trial Postponed For A Fourth Time
Dr. Abuzaid Dorda’s trial has been postponed for a fourth time since his trial first began on June 5th. His defense lawyer forced the court to agree to an adjournment by challenging the legality of the proceedings. Dr. Dorda’s trial will resume on September 11, 2012.

Abuzed Omar Dorda (Arabic: أبو زيد عمر دوردة) (born 4 April 1944) was General Secretary of the People’s Committee (Prime Minister) of Libya from 7 October 1990 to 29 January 1994, and as Libya’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 1997 to 2003.
